Territory Manager

It's like running your own business without running the risk.

A true entrepreneurial spirit and good business sense are essential. Although industrial sales experience is a plus, it isn't necessary for consideration.

Position Accountabilities:

  • Represents the company's industrial product line to new prospects and existing customers within an assigned territory.
  • Demonstrates company's industrial products and services, and explains key selling points and product benefits while remaining focused on the customer's requirements.
  • Provides customers with written and verbal pricing quotes as appropriate.
  • Informs both current and prospective customers of product promotions and new or upgraded products.
  • Follows up with customers to ensure product satisfaction and to answer additional product questions or to solicit additional sales.
  • Maintains and updates personal selling skills and technical/product knowledge.
  • Ensures that customer inquiries related to billing problems, order status, and other issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepares and submits annual market and competitor information, and sales forecasts as directed by immediate supervisor.
  • Prepares and submits required weekly and monthly reports.
  • Assists the company's Accounts Receivables department in the collection of assigned territory receivables over 60 days.
